Arlington National Cemetery

Millennium Pools proudly completed a historic fountain renovation at Arlington National Cemetery, restoring the Hemicycle feature to its full beauty and functionality. This comprehensive project included the removal of old waterproofing from both basins and the application of new waterproofing for long-term durability. Our team installed new plumbing lines using directional boring for underground runs and added a new return line for the Hemicycle fountain. We performed manifold repairs and renovations, ensuring optimal water flow and performance.

To enhance aesthetics and efficiency, we installed Deming submersible feature pumps and added 240 Clear Stream Jets with directional adjustable brass nozzles. The Hemicycle fountain now features a Pentair 5 HP filter pump, 16 energy-efficient LED lights, and a complete water treatment system including two new filters, CAT controller, chlorinator, and UV sanitation system. For improved sealing and durability, we caulked joints between cap stones on both basins and applied a fresh layer of waterproofing. The project concluded with final testing and commissioning to guarantee full functionality and reliability.

This renovation combines historic preservation with modern technology, ensuring the Hemicycle fountain remains a stunning and sustainable landmark for years to come.
